From a 9V or 12V battery supply (preferably a car type battery), this unit will produce a pulsating, High Tension, low energy voltage of approx. 1000 Volts for up to 100 Metre spans. For electrically operated fences for smaller animals, poultry fences, pigs etc, or to keep foxes out. The energiser can be connected to standard tape fencing up to 100 meter spans and delivers a very unpleasant shock.
Ideally the unit should be connected to a 12 volt car battery but if the unit is mounted close to an electrical outlet, a plug-in 12vdc power adaptor can be used. The units can connect to a 2 conductor fence or can be used with a grounding (earth) rod.
