We tested this unit, and it responded well. Unit powers on without any problems, and once we turned up the speed control knob, the unit began to shake. Unfortunately, the speed gauge did not respond. We turned up the temperature, and immediately the heating element began to get hot. We partially filled the bath with water and the heating element warmed the water very quickly. We observed a maximum temperature of about 60 degrees Centigrade in the water, though the heating element warmed to about 66 degrees.
