South bend heavy 10" lathe dial indicator carriage stop
Mounts to the front of a heavy 10 lathe in threaded holes on the front of the headstock. Same holes that are often used for the micrometer stop mounting rail.
The lock knob on the bracket is very tight and you can see a previous owner has used pliers on it. Also there is a socket head screw that is broken off in this mounting behind where the bar goes through. So it wont lock on the bar the way it is now, will need some fixing up in that respect. See 3rd photo for details
The other end has a cool heavy duty casing that houses a indicator. There is a Ames .0001" indicator in it now. It works but is somewhat sticky/doesnt always return to the same spot. This indicator is NOT what originally was sold with this accy and the specs in the catalog at the bottom of the listing do not match the indicator.
I have included some photos of the original catalog for this item at the end of the listing. The catalog/photos are not included but presented here for reference.
