RadioShack 20-418 PRO-2045 200-Channel Weather Alert Home Scanner. Serial # 65007936. Operates from 12VDC. Includes the AC adapter and telescopic whip antenna which is in the factory sealed sleeve to the right of the radio in the main photo. Also operates using an optional/extra cigarette lighter adapter with a 5.5/2.1mm coax power plug (RadioShack Adaptaplug type M). Frequency coverage: 29-54MHz, 108-136.975MHz, 137-174MHz, 216-380MHz, 380-512MHz, 806-823.9375MHz, 851-868.9375MHz, 896.1125-1000MHz. This radio does not monitor trunked systems. This radio monitors the UHF Military and Coast Guard frequencies. Rotary knob for changing memory channels or tuning frequencies. One button weather reception. AM/FM mode change button so you can listen to transmissions like the USAF Thunderbirds. Signal attenuation button to listen to overly strong signals. 1/8" headphone jack. BNC antenna jack. Triple conversion. Weather Alert automatically switches to the NWS frequency sending a severe-weather signal. This is a new item which had been sitting on the shelf of our family-owned store since March 1996.
