Hardinge Model E Double Tool Cross Slide: The double tool cross slide permits machining from both the front and rear of the slide. Operations such as facing, forming, relieving, chamfering, knurling, and cutting off can be performed. Mounts directly to a 3-1/2 inch dovetail bed or can be mounted on a bed adapter (see our store for one of these) for use on machines with a 7-1/2 inch dovetail bed. Mount tool posts or straight and taper turning cross slides for even more versatility.
