Keithley 614 Digital Electrometer Picoammeter +Warranty
Testing was done as follows: We found that our reference multimeter and this electrometer read the same voltage off a "AA" battery (1.5546V). Then we found a 100k resistor, on which the meters agreed, again. Then we put the meters as ammeters in series, and they both said approximately the same thing about the current flowing in the loop. We found your Keithley and our meter both read about the same voltage off our DC power supply, and we got good readings also off a 9V battery and a 10M resistor. We found that the 2V Analog Output on the back panel is in proportion to the readings on the front panel. There is an internal battery but either it is dead or there is some other reason why the electrometer will not run on battery power. No other testing was done.
