AND YES, THIS LIGHT STILL DOES ROTATE IN THE SKY 360 DEGREES 360 DEGREES 360 DEGREES! (so if any one sends me a question asking if it rotates, I think I have this covered. Very boring if it does not. And two of these searchlights placed back to back criss cross their beams in the night sky and look spectacular).
OH, and yes yes yes, the bulb lasts well over 3,000 hours. I have yet to replace one. We are still running these bulbs under the maximum power output they are designed to run at, so these bulbs seem to really last.
AND LOOK AT THIS NEW CHROME FINISH! NEW CHROME DOOR, WITH SPRING LOADED LATCH THAT CLOSES SO MUCH BETTER IN THE RAIN, DUST AND SNOW! We found the solid high quality chrome finish resists the elements better in the lower housing area and the new door closes and opens easily each and every time. The panel is also different and improved. Now there are three switches, one for motion and two for power levels. Clean, easy to read, and so easy to operate. Includes an hours meter and main breaker. And now the main cooling fan for the bulb stays on with the main breaker on. This allows the bulb to cool faster for the nights when it is necessary to move the light quickly after shutting down. So much more efficient!

AND BELIEVE me, this is the EASIEST way to make money in your spare time. Just drop off the searchlight that is easy to lift and fits in the back of any SUV or station wagon, plug it in, and make $200-$500 a night! We have so many operators with four of these searchlights on a trailer with even four small Honda style generators powering up each one. They run at around 13-17 amps, so it is easy to get this kind of 110 voltage form a small generator and the amperage draw allows these searchlights to run from a wall socket or small generator.
Do NOT make a mistake about how bright the Xenon is compared to a HMI bulb. Just like seeing a Mercedes or BMW coming at you in the night compared to an older car.
