New 2-1/4"-6 lathe back plate for south bend 14-1/2
New heavy duty cast iron 2-1/4"-6 threaded backplate. Ready to machine to fit your chuck. You will need to face it on your lathe, machine a spigot/plug to fit tightly into your chuck and drill/tap the holes to match your specific chuck. OD is aprox 6.5". Plate is aprox 3/4" thick and hub is aprox 1" thick.
Fits many older South Bend 14-1/2" lathes as well as others. On some machines you may need to take a few thousandths off the register/unthreaded area as well.
Newer 14-1/2" machines had 2-3/8"-6
