Bellows for garden dusting or beekeeping powdered sugar

BELLOWS FOR GARDEN DUSTING OR BEEKEEPING POWDERED SUGAR
NEW IN THE BOX BELLOWS DUSTER.
Effective way to apply powders in your apiary or garden!
These bellows have been adopted to apply powdered sugar to bees, to help stimulate grooming and to dislodge varroa mites from the bees. In this fashion, you will use integrated pest management to treat your bees naturally. Powdered sugar is dumped into the hopper, where the bellows blow it into the applicating tube and up into the hive. There are 3 tubes included, each 33cm. However, 66cm is sufficient to insert duster outlet into entrance of hive and under frames, to apply powdered sugar.
Protect your bees from mite infestation naturally. Our bellows duster makes powdered sugar application a piece of cake.
Use the bellows duster with approximately a cup of powdered sugar without cornstarch to control mites. Beekeepers using this method report a 75%-80% fewer mites in their hives. We recommend use as follows:
* Use the bellows duster in a hive with a screened bottom board. * Prop the top of the hive open with a stick, about 8 or nine inches. * Insert the directional tube of the duster into the colony entrance. * Vigorously squeeze the bellows until the dust reaches the uppermost box of the hive. * An alternate method is to dust from the top of the hive downward. * Be sure to empty the bellows duster completely.
Repeat the procedure 2-4 times in the fall and spring. Fall dusting should begin after honey is removed from the hive, no later than the end of August. Spring dusting should begin when the bees come out of winter. Dustings should be done about 10 days apart.
These bellows are also primarily used in the garden to apply various dusts or pesticides used to treat plant pests and mildew. Very effective way to apply to apply under leaves, where your sap-sucking pests rob your plants of vitality during the day. Allows you to apply selectively, as to not douse your fruits, flowers and vegetables with application. Also, the underleaf or base is where you want to apply, not over the top as your powder will block the light from the top surface.GarageSale
