as u see the hens are black giants they are considered meat producers the second picture is the offspring more then anything here they lay large to xlg eggs an our largests is near 10 pds. the rooster is a red giant he's huge an also for meat purposes. me,myself, an i love this breed due to them being gentle an great egg producers thru the cold as well as the hot. they have been the easiests breed so far i have found in ckens to easily maintain as chicks to adults being hardy an a large size when hatched.
when hatched place a lil sugar in their water for a week to help stable their energy for their raising , we place apple cider vingar in the water once a month or garlic to maintain their health. since they are meat producers an we dont wont any harsh chemicals in our meat. we have been raising poultry for over 13 yrs. an maintain ourselves an others with eggs an meat on our table.
