Secure digital sd memory card socket
These are hard to come by for experimenting with SD (Secure Digital) cards. This board will take a single SD Card with all of the of the card connections brought out to the front of the board for easy connection. The SD card simply pushes into the socket, there is an output that the host can use for detecting when the card has been inserted.
The board also has an LED on the chip select line to indicate when the SD card is being accessed.
The picture shows a board with a card inserted ** note the card is not supplied with the board**. The connector at the end has been marked with the connections required for SPI or a 4 wire SD interface.
