These were purchased at an industrial liquidation recently, and they are new in the original factory boxes. The boxes are in good physical shape, although somewhat soiled. I'm not sure if they were stored in an industrial environment or what. However, the switches inside the boxes are clean and in perfect condition.
These big, easy-to-find switches are nice to have nearby if a machine is trying to eat somebody's arm or leg. However as a factory owner, you know the importance of selecting safety equipment that doesn't reduce productivity. The Rees 00662-002 can take the abuse, no matter how frantically a dying worker hits or stomps them. Indeed, they'll be ready to roll again, just as soon as you get the screaming stopped and the blood cleaned off. Can be wired either Normally Open or Normally Closed, so they're great for people who have trouble making up their minds.

They each have a little Warning-Danger note, telling you to where to install, OSHA this, ANSI that, etc. But you bought them, didn't you? They're yours, aren't they? So relax. You can install them wherever and however you like!

Item # 00662-002 - 2.25 inch Plastic Mushroom Plunger - $127.30
This switch is a hand operated, control circuit device, rated Heavy Duty normally for use with electromagnetic equipment. The black cover, painted with a dry powder paint, is made from die-cast zinc. The red mushroom shaped plunger is molded from DuPont Delrin 100ST Acetal for improved impact resistance and improved colors. The plunger head is solid color throughout.

Each captive terminal will accept (2) #14 AWG stranded wires. Each switch is supplied with all mounting hardware and a solid neoprene rubber gasket which provides an oil tight seal upon installation. The mechanical life of this device is 1,000,000 operations.
This switch can be found on a variety of machines such as punch presses, press brakes, and spot-welding equipment as RUN , START or STOP buttons. They are also used on transfer machines. Its rugged construction and long term reliability make this switch extremely well suited to function within various industrial/commercial environments.
