This model has the four inch base and ratchet stop. Movement is smooth throughout its range.
There is some surface discoloration but no pitting. The tool is used but is in excellent overall condition
with no damage to any of the milled measuring surfaces. Comes in original wooden case with 2 rods.
It comes in the original wooden casing as shown in picture.
