This is an old Ammeter to Admiralty Pattern 7568
Marked - Weir Electrical Instrument Co.Ltd
Connection is by 2 machine screws on the back, 1.25" long complete with fixing nuts and washers.
Have tested with 9v battery and needle moves OK - no other tests have been carried out!
