Get ready for next season, up for consideration is a new stainless maple syrup bottling/finishing pan.
This pan is made of 22 ga. 304 stainless in a hi polished finish
It measures 15" x 15" with a 10" wall, with a 3/4" lip bent in on top.
This pan will hold 9.74 gallons/36.87 litres of liquid.
The size is great for working over a king cooker style heat source. The price is affordable. The quality,and durability of the metal is Excellent.
When it comes to boiling syrup, 22ga. stainless has been the choice of the major maple syrup equipment manufacturers vs. thicker metals which take more heat, and time to boil. The thicker the metal the more time and heat it will take to get your finished product.
