These are used for high-current power-plane decoupling for computer motherboards, or other applications requiring large capacitance, with high current at high frequencies. This capacitor has longer case length for better heat dissipation and very high operating current.
These have an extremely low ESR and high operating current!! At 100 KHz ratings are 0.013 Ohms Max ESR and 2.55 Amperes Max operating current. Some applications have leads and circuit traces with greater impedance!
