Valeport 710 Tide Gauge System has been developed to provide a versatile system that can be supplied in many configurations, from a basic recording tide gauge for hydrographic surveys to a multi-gauge tide & meteorological system suitable for port control.
Using a vented strain gauge transducer, the Model 710 measures water level referenced to local chart datum, and can be calibrated on site for local water conditions. All data can be displayed on site and logged to a memory capable of storing up to 5 years of data. With simple yet powerful control software and a variety of data communications methods available, the Model 710 is suitable for all requirements.
