Good solid 1950 Farmall M with fenders, two-way hydraulic valve, belt pulley, one set of rear wheel weights, and lightbar toolbox. Tractor is located in Dayton, Ohio, zip code 45430, and available for local pickup only.
The tractor runs good but has some blow-by and sometimes a little smoke in the exhaust. The only other mechanical problems I know of are that the tractor drips a little oil from beneath the engine and rear axles, weeps a little gasoline from the carburetor, and has a little slop in the steering. Rear tires are Firestone 13.6-38, matched, fair condition with good tubes. Rear rims are in good condition with some minor rust. Front tires are new Firestone 6-ply with tubes, with new grease seals and repacked bearings on the front wheels. New oil seals on PTO and both brakes. New ammeter, oil pressure gauge, and temperature gauge from OEM Tractor Parts. New wiring for ignition and lighting circuits. All new fluids, including transmission case gear oil. Fenders are straight but each one has two small mounting holes drilled through it. Hydraulic valve works smoothly. Belt pulley is in good condition. Lightbar toolbox opens fine and is not rusted through. Nice M&W throttle lever. Hood is straight and complete, all four latches work. Grille is fair but has been patched below the insert. Paint looks okay from 100 feet.
The first seven pictures (taken outside) were taken last Saturday, April 17th. I'm adding four additional pictures taken a few years ago as I was working on the tractor:
1. One of the brakes with the new oil seal in place (both brakes have new seals).
2. Front wheel after installing grease seals and repacking with new grease.
3. Voltage regulator and generator after running new ignition wiring.
4. PTO running, with new oil seal in place.
