Zygo 121 lts laser telemetric micrometer with reader
This is a ZYGO Model 121LTS LASER TELEMETRIC SYSTEM in full working condition. It is a Laser Micrometer built in August 1983. It is a non contact measuring device that projects a laser beam and the part interrupts the beam and it calculates the size of the part by the shadow that the part casts on the receiver. It was last calibrated in 12/3/04 and was due for calibration again in 6/3/05 but was taken out of service before that date. It is very clean as it came out of a Medical Manufacturing plants clean room before the plant closed and moved to Mexico.
The main control cabinet is a NEMA 12 sealed enclosure 20"X16"X9". The laser system is made up of two parts, a transmitter, and a receiver. The transmitter and receiver are mounted on a 6" wide channel iron and the whole assembly measures at 33" X 6" X 6-1/2". The high voltage supply on the laser transmitter was replaced just before it was pulled from service.
