Met one A2408-1-115-2 laser airborne particle counter
* In addition to laser reliability and flexibility, the Met One 2408 is easy-to-operate. A quiet, carbon-free pump provides steady vacuum power at 1.0 cfm (28.3 L/min). The bright LED display makes reading data easy. The display shows particle counts in either cumulative or differential modes, as well as the values from the optional probes for humidity, temperature and air velocity. For a fixed system, the Met One 2408 can be coupled with the Met One 2432 manifold, allowing sequential sampling of up to 32 sample points. This combination can be an independent system or part of a computer-based FMS system. The Met One 2408 offers reliability, versatility and ease-of-operation in a lightweight, portable package. If your requirements are limited to detection of 0.5 micron and larger particles choose the Met One 2408. If you need sensitivity at 0.3 micron, then choose the Met One 2400. Both will give you solid performance in a quiet and lightweight package.

This came in a lot of new spare parts wrapped in bubble wrap. It has one light cosmetic scratch on the aluminum bottom panel and a couple tiny spots where the paint is gone from the unlatched handle resting on the body while it was wrapped up in storage (See Picture 3 for the larger of the two which is about 3/16 long max, the one on the other side is about 1/16 ). There are also a couple more tiny light marks on the body that are hard to see and some along the rear edge of the body panel. However, it is otherwise spotless and looks like it just came out of the box. All of the controls/connections are spotless. Based on the condition of this unit, I m pretty sure this is a new spare, but just to be safe I m calling it like new.
