As you can see it is pretty much just a metal box with a handle on it. There is a hole going into it from the bottom that I would guess is for mounting it, but perhaps it gives you access to the center of the magnetic field? The little knob thing on top appears to be a continuation of that hole, I don t think it is an adjustment but I could be mistaken. In good/used condition based on a physical inspection. Functionally however, I cannot say.
The box is approximately 8x10 inches, and about 4 1/4 inches thick. The trim ring around the hole has a about a 1/2" diameter hole in the middle, but the hole beyond that is only about 1/4 inch ID. Please check out my other listings for more interesting lab and optical equipment. Check back often!
