HOME CARE PROVIDER INSTRUCTIONS
for the Respironics Remstar Pro CPAP System, a CPAP system intended for the treatment of adult Obstructive Sleep Apnea only. A booklet like this is used by your Respiratory Home Care Provider to set all the settings on your CPAP machine, and is not given to you, so that if any adjustment is necessary, they are able to charge you $$$ to make those changes. With this booklet you will be able to access the Therapy Setup Menu on the REMstar Pro and make changes to the pressure, reset the compliance totals, set the C-Flex level, set the ramp time, set the ramp starting pressure, set the patient disconnect alert, set the button lights. Also has instructions for the use of the Smart Card, if so equipped. Also how to use the FOSQ test, how to reset the Device Usage and Patient Compliance. Also has humidifier instructions if so equipped, and adding Oxygen, if so required.
