120VAC/10A Variable Voltage Output Transformers
Use a dial to adjust the voltage you need within a given range. Also known as Variacs, these are often used in laboratories to vary power, heat, speed, or force. It operates at 120VAC 50/60 Hz and is UL/CSA certified.
Bench Top Style This style has a ventilated steel case, power-on/off toggle switch located on top of the junction box, and a replaceable fuse. It has a standard NEMA 5-15 three-prong plug and outlet.
This quality Powerstat Variac has been used but not abused, functions properly and is generally in very good condition. There s some surface corrosion on the base of the unit but nothing serious. The base surface is smooth touch - please see photos.
There are some minor surface scratches on the black control knob.
This unit normally sells for $300US or more new!
And functionally, it works the very same as a new one.
