Manufactured by Little Scotchman Industries, this machine is comparable to the Scotchman Porta Fab 45 ton Ironworker. The Ironworker is made in the Philip, SD. This machine is portable, weighing less than 900 lbs. It is also equipped with casters. This machine is designed to work 20 gauge to 1/2" thick material without changing the clearance on the tools. The hydraulic power, combined with the principal of the lever enables the machine to make contact with the material then builds up the hydraulic pressure to shear just that size of material.
