Properly repair or renew damaged threads with the capability of the RTD48 rethreading set. Fractional or metric the RTD48 set is equipped with an entire 48 piece tooling selection to simplify all rethreading jobs. The rethreading taps and dies are highly tempered for strength and durability and are hex shaped for use with a socket or wrench. Rethreading dies remove nicks and burrs and are for chasing work only, they are not intended for cutting new threads.
