If at the time of delivery the carton shows damage then it is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to note any and all damage on the carrier's freight bill in order to file a claim. If you do not note damage to the carton or the item at the time of delivery then you have waived your right to file a claim if damage is found thereafter.
You have the right to fully inspect the package before signing for and accepting the package in good condition.
Even if you do not believe your item is damaged note the carton damage on the carrier's freight bill as a precaution.
Should I accept or refuse a damaged item?
Unless the damage is minor we suggest you refuse the item. However, if you decide to accept a damaged item, you are accepting the complete responsibility of noting damage and filing any and all claims and appeals directly with the carrier. We will be more than happy to offer any information that we may have available in order for you to handle the claim. Make a written request to the carrier for inspection and save all packaging materials. The carrier will provide claim paperwork.
In the event you send a representative to pick up an item in your stead, or if a representative will accept an item in your absence, all of the above should be communicated to that individual prior to receipt of the item and will apply in any event.
Authorized returns will be given an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number. Policies and procedures for obtaining an RMA vary based on the reason for return.
Most products sold by AAAAPPLIANCES include a one year, parts and labor warranty. See your product literature or speak with one of our product experts for details. If your product is defective upon arrival, notify us of the problem within 48 hours of receiving goods. If you notice the defect after 48 hours of receiving goods, please contact the product s manufacturer. Contact information for the manufacturer is included in the product literature. NOTE: Most manufacturers require one service call to diagnose the problem.
