Bunn cds-2 fuses, set of 2, 27441.0000
This is a pair of brand new glass fuses for the Bunn CDS-2 machine. These fuses protect the transformer and low voltage lighting circuit. They are the correct physical size, amperage, and type for the machine.
The bulbs in the lighted lids of the Bunn machines operate on low voltage for safety. A transformer reduces the voltage, and in the event of a short or component failure to protect the transformer and the lighting circuit (including the bulbs, sockets, wires and connectors) this fuse will "blow" before the components are damaged.
If neither of your lighted lids are working and you;ve checked all the bulbs, the fuse should be checked. You can look at these fuses and see through the glass to the metallic element. If there is an open portion (the metallic element is not in one piece from one end of the fuse to the other), then you need a new fuse. Never bypass a fuse or circuit breaker or replace with a fuse of a higher rating - you will damage your machine and potentially cause an electrical injury.
