Belshaw Mark VI Donut Robot Donut Processing Line
The components of this line include: TZ-6 Proofer, Conveyor Belt, Mark VI Donut Robot, Shortening Warmer, Rack Loader, and Glazing Table. The overall dimensions of this entire line are 15' x 38".
To begin the process, the donuts are manually formed and placed on the perforated trays with a cloth on them. They are then placed in the proofer, which can hold up to six trays at a time. We have included ten cloths and six proofing trays with this line. After the donuts are proofed, the tray is removed and the cloth with the donuts on it is placed on the conveyor belt. The donuts travel down to the Mark 6 Fryer, where they are dropped in to the oil. The warmer below with foot pedal controls acts as an oil pump to heat and pump the oil through the fryer. This system can also reduce shortening use by up to 50%, a great money saver!
As they travel through the fryer, they are flipped at the halfway point to ensure even results. When they reach the end of the fryer, they are pushed out on to the rack loader, where a standard 17" x 25" donut screen is waiting. We have included one screen with this line, but more are easily available from Belshaw. Once the screen is full, it is transported over to the glazing table. The handheld glazer is then swept over the tray until all donuts are covered.
These units come apart easily for cleaning and are easy to use, minimizing the amount of employee training time required. This line can process up to 112 dozen donuts per hour at a 95 second frying time.
