This unit was manufactured in NOV 2008,and fitted shortly after,so isn't very old.It suffered corrosion on the interface I/O module and was replaced.
However,there was no corrosion or water ingress into the laser compartment,which as can be seen is still in mint condition,so as they are 4000+ i'm
advertising this one for spares.The outer case is corroded at the back,and there is very minor damage to the interface I/O board.
Could also be used for a roving robot maybe? these units measure the reflection distance of the revolving laser scan,so see a 190 degree 2 dimensional field.
