Radiant Model T150 Point of Sale is a Windows CE based terminal that uses the familiar Radiant countertop enclosure. The T150 is part of the Radiant T-Series family of terminals. It is targeted toward deployments where multimedia and other high-end features are not required, and acquisition cost is of greater concern.
Model T150 uses the Radiant countertop enclosure, providing many benefits engineered specifically for the retail environment. These include a small footprint, ease of installation, controlled access to connectors, concealed cable routing, and very tight integration of core point-of-sale hardware including a touch screen and magnetic stripe reader.
Model T150 uses Windows CE, which provides many benefits over other operating systems. These include solid-state electronics with no forced ventilation for cooling, excellent stability and ease of configuration, and robust support for modern retail application development. In addition, Windows CE is designed specifically for fit-for-purpose applications such as point of sale terminals.
