The i-Pro WV-NP304 megapixel network camera features a 1280 x 960 megapixel image sensor with MPEG-4/JPEG digital output at a VGA image size up to 30 ips and with dual streaming capabilities. The camera?s impressive Day/Night performance is accentuated by user-selectable light control features that assure the best image clarity in changing lighting conditions and/or different camera locations.
Other performance features include: PoE, built-in video motion detection (VMD); progressive output for clear moving images; Adaptive Black Stretch (ABS) to enhance the visibility of dark areas without compromising the bright area in the same scene; RGB filter for superior color reproduction; focus assist with on-screen focus adjustment for optimal focus; and SD memory card slot for backup recording due to network failure. The WV-NP304 is designed for easy installation with an analog monitor output for quick verification of camera adjustments.
"The WV-NP304 is a true IP "box" style camera from Panasonic. When I say true, I mean it was designed for the real IP world and supports POE (Power Over Ethernet). This allows you to install this camera with a signle CAT5 cable without having to use a seperate cable for power. POE devices must adhere to Ethernet limitations. This camera provies two digital outputs, MPEG-4 and JPEG and bandwidth throttling whih allows you to set how much video is sent over the network.
