Low melting point solder 0.4MM diameter for smt repair
Approx 6 metres of 0.4mm LMP rosin flux cored solder. This solder has a melting point of 179 degrees Celsius and is designed for precision soldering of small components on PCBs. It is a lead/tin solder with 2% silver which gives it the characteristic of changing from solid to molten and back to solid over a very small temperature change making it ideal for surface mount device rework and repair. This is a very fine gauge solder which requires a very fine tipped soldering iron for working with closely spaced connections.
