9901 ALMASOL SYNTEMP LUBRICANT
Synthetic High Temp EP 2 Open Gear Grease. 9901 ALMASOL SYNTEMP Lubricant is a high temperature lubricant made from a very heavy synthetic fluid and a non-melting base. It is specially formulated to provide exceptional protection at temperatures at which petroleum oils would completely oxidize or carbonize. It contains ALMASOL , LE s exclusive wear-reducing additive.
9901 has high oxidation resistance and will not leave undesirable products such as varnish or gum. Its superior oxidation resistance also means that it will last longer than ordinary greases. It has a high load carrying capacity which ensures protection from wear even under the heaviest of loads. The high film strength of this product serves to cushion gear teeth when heavy or shock loads are encountered. It is formulated from a non-melting base which ensures that the lubricant will not liquefy and run out of the bearings or off gears, cables, and chains. Since it is tacky it will not pound out under heavy loads. It is water resistant and remains unaffected by boiling water and steam. 9901 will reduce equipment failure and eliminate deposit build up.
Use 9901 where an extremely high temperature, synthetic lubricant is required. This lubricant is not designed for anti-friction bearings, except large bearings operating at very slow speeds. It is recommended for open gears (kiln girth gears) oven chains, large plain bearings, etc., operating in a high temperature environment.
