It can cut metals and aluminums up to 2 inches thick. hydraulic clamps will hold the piece to be cut in place. rotational speed of the round blade is adjustable. also, the cutting speed is adjustable. this machine weighs around 6000 to 8000 pounds. It will require a big forklift to pick up the unit.
