8" plastic floor or deck drain assy w/strainer basket
8" Floor or Deck Drain with Strainer Assembly
This is a new part but there was no part # or manufacturer name on the box or part. The only thing I can see are the letters ASC on the bottom of the top grate.
This is plastic with 5 pieces in the whole assembly;
* Top grate-gray, 7 3/4" diameter & 3/4" thick with curved and slanted slots
* Double strainer basket-1 basket sits inside the other, each with 3/4" slots, and can be turned by spinning the top grate to open or close, allowing water in or out or closing it off. Inside basket is 4 1/2" deep, outside is 5" deep
* Floor 'base' assembly (for lack of better word)-inner piece is about 9 3/4" outer diameter and 7 3/4" inner diameter with slots and grooves for outer 'ring'. Outer 'ring' is 10 1/2" outer diameter and slides onto grooves of base for an adjustable width for flooring, from 3'4" to 1 1/4" thick floors

Looks like it would be a deck or floor drain.
