It has keyways in both direction.. All three sides are ground so that you can machine
a part and flip the vise while the parts is still in the vise and maintain squareness.
e.g. you can machine the face of the part then flip the vise and machine side two
and then flip the vise and machine the third side. These is a very useful tool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
