One of the most useful tools in my shop, is my locking end post dolly. Included in this sale are two unique locking post dolly ends and the thirty-two page plan booklet to build this high quality Post Dolly tool. The precision machined locking ends accept 1" diameter cold rolled steel stems, allowing the user to easily lock the height and position of the post dolly stakes.
The Locking Post Dolly Plans are printed in color on 24lb high quality paper, glue bound in a heavy blue vinyl binder. Also included in the plans, are the plans for a unique roller base and stabilizer. The roller base has foot adjusters for quick tool leveling and a foot operated roller mode to allow easy movement around your shop.
Build this tool with common materials easily found anywhere. Fun to build and a tool that will serve you for a lifetime.
No longer will you have to clamp stake dollies in a vise and have them rock and move on you.
Take my sheetmetal shaping class and you will see how important this tool is! This is a tool I find new uses for everyday! Use it for shaping, detailing, crushing welds, holding panels while welding or removing dents, rolling a radius, forming, etc. I also plan to expand and evolve my post dolly design to do additional sheetmetal shaping functions.
I plan to offer in the coming months special tooling for the Locking End and Mobile Post Dolly. I also plan to make a new DVD showing the hundreds of ways a well designed Post Dolly can be used.
