Drm transmitter dds 530KHZ - 2MHZ at 1K step qrp PART15

A unique product from ASPiSYS GREECE!
DDS 530-1700KHz (500KHz up to 2MHz for the Ham Version) with 1KHz step
NOTE: The RF output power is ~350mW Peak Power and that is power peaks with IQ OFDM signal level! Relative (AVERAGE) spectral power is ~40mW & that you will read using a common RF power & VSWR meter.
It has two independently adjustable audio inputs, for "I"and "Q" basband channels & an optional 25KHz brick wall low-pass filtering (user selectable thru inside jumper).
You can change the broadcast frequency on the fly using incremental speed tuning. Just press the UP or DOWN button to go up or down the frequencies. After ENTER is pressed the DDS is re-programmed with the new transmission frequency. The power-on frequency and all other settings can be saved to the built-in non-volatile memory at the press of a key.
The unit meets all FCC (Part-15.219) requirements for AM transmitters. It has an excellent spectral purity with harmonics rejection better than -35dBc (out of band) as can be seen in a Spectrum Analyser, out-of-band spurious output better than -50dBc, and accuracy of the lock-on frequency better than +/- 0.2Hz. You can manually turn the RF output on/off, or use the built-in real-time clock to set a daily or weekend schedule for automatic turning on/off the transmitter at a specific time. With this option, one can leave the unit at a remote site and have it operate only for the specified hours.
DrMAX-1 has OFDM baseband modulator built-in and provides crystal clear spectrum up to 25KHz and with a mask down to more than 40dB.
The device requires 24VDC for 40mW DRM power @ 450mA maximum.
530 - 1700KHz (up to 2MHz under request covering also the 160m US HAM band)
+/- 0.2Hz maximum. DDS Frequency Synthesizer (better stability than any PLL)
40mW AVG - adjustable (400mW Peak, ONLY FOR EUROPE & the US licensed HAM operators)
20mW OFDM AVG spectral power for US NON-HAM citizens (as per Part 15.219 rules). No tuning required! Power output is NOT adjustable.
"I" and "Q" unbalanced 10kOhm for Baseband (with optional 25KHz LP Filter)
Independend I & Q (ie. PC output of SPARK encoder)Adjustable via on-board trimmers.
depended on software encoding - decoding (AAC, AAC+ SBR, etc)

What about the ANTENNA for PART-15 AM broadcasting?A good reading for ANTENNA CONSTRUCTION for Part-15AM Transmitters can be found at: http:// /raiu_harrison/mwa/skyhooks/index.html The DrMAX-1 will work with an ISOTRON AM Antenna!
