Made by Mimik.This is a Precision Hydraulic Lathe Tracing Attachment in working condition.
* Use only 1 cutting tool instead of several: Use of a single point tool permits greater turning speeds and faster feed rates. In addition, it minimizes setup up time, resetting time and tool regrinding. Shape and contour of the part to be machined are generated by the tracer stylus following exactly the template outline. With a Mimic tracer, expensive form tools are unnecessary - costs are further reduced, profits per part are further increased.
* Change to other machines: One tracer can serve several machines of the same general size regardless of make. A tracer can be transferred from one lathe to another, or to a planer or milling machine as work load requires. Transfer and installation is effected simply with only minimum set up time required.
