The Olympus VN5500PC digital voice recorder is a small, simple-to- use and inexpensive digital recorder with the added benefit of Dragon Naturally Speaking voice recognition software. Its 512MB fixed memory gives over 35 hours in best quality and up to 221 hours recording (in telephone quality recording mode). Recordings are in WMA format and are downloadable to PC via the supplied USB cable and software and are transcribable. Dragon NaturallySpeaking v.10 speech to text software offers high accuracy levels - up to 20% less errors straight out of the box than v.9 and around half the errors than versions of five years ago. In fact, DNS actually learns from your corrections over time, making using it even more rewarding.
