12 longtail phoenix bantam hatching eggs very rare

These are the highly sought after Longtail Phoenix Bantams , a rare breed in standard size, but extremely hard to come by in these bantams . Ours are in white , silver duckwing, and gold duckwing and are kept together . The 2 white roosters are actually silver duckwings that are masked by white, so the resulting offspring are about 50% white or silver ducking. The exception to this will be the ones from the 2 gold hens, they will be mainly brown reds. There's no way of knowing which ones you will get, as I said they are all in 1 pen. All will breed true to color, and this breeding gives you a shot at 3-4 colors in 1.Again, this makes for pure offspring, no mutt colors! These are out of very high end stock, (cost me a fortune), and have excellent tails, saddles and converts, a far cry from those old hatchery birds so many people have. The pics were taken of them at only 6 months old and the males had just lost 18-20 inches of tail from heavy rains, so you can just imagine what they looked like before that happened. They are a little over a year old now, and are still in there original blood feathers, have not molted yet, and are still growing! They have the proper slate blue legs which is very hard to come by, and a nice erect single comb, not that ol floppy comb many get. These are a very gentle natured bird and love human contact. No special care is needed for them in general, however for the best tails, it is ideal to give them as large of a pen as possible, high perches, thick ground cover, and lots of loving care. They do molt each year or so and will regrow their long tails every time. These are not Japanese birds despite what all the hatcheries claim, they come from Europe actually, and do not continuously grow tails. They have a set genetic marker and once their tails reach that point, just like any rooster, they stop growing this may be 6 months to 1 1/2 years though. This is where good genetics come in, With proper care even as bantams, these will get 2-4 tails easily, but not 20 like lots of places claim, those are onagadori birds from Japan and none exist here in the states, at least no pures.. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I love to talk about them.
All our stock is NPIP and Avian Influenza Tested!
